How VisitArt S.L uses cookies

VisitArt S.L uses cookies or other information storage and retrieval devices to track user interactions with the products offered on its website.
Cookies allow us to recognise a user's browser, as well as the type of device from which the website is accessed, and are used to facilitate the user's next visit and make the website or application more useful.

Types of cookies used by VisitArt S.L

Websites developed by JUST QUALITY use the following cookies:

  • Preference or customisation cookies: These allow the user to access the service with some predefined general characteristics based on a series of criteria in the user's terminal (language, browser type, regional configuration, etc.).

  • Technical cookies: These are cookies that allow the user to navigate through a web page, platform or application and use the different options or services that exist in it, such as, for example, controlling the traffic of data communication, identifying the session, accessing areas of restricted access, carrying out the purchase process of an order, making the request for registration or participation in an event, and using security elements while browsing or share content through social networks.

  • Session cookies: These allow the website to recognise the information stored during the user's session in order to prevent the website from making requests for information already provided, so that previously given information will not be requested.

  • Analytical cookies: When the user browses the Visit Art S.L website, anonymous information regarding the user's browsing and their behaviour patterns is collected in a standard way using this tool.

  • Google Analytics enables the cookies named on the website domain:

    • “__utma”: This cookie is necessary for the operation of Google Analytics and has an expiration period of 2 years.
    • “__utmz”: This cookie is used to track the location of the visit, that is, from where and how the user came to our website, and expires after 6 months.
    • “_utmb”: This cookie registers the time of arrival to the page and expires 30 minutes after the last page view registration. It is automatically deleted when changing websites or when closing the browser.
    • “_utmc”: The current JavaScript code used by Google Analytics does not require this cookie. Before, this cookie was used together with the _utmb cookie to determine whether after more than 30 minutes on the same page, it was appropriate or not to establish a new session for the user. This cookie is still written to ensure compatibility with websites where the old urchin.js tracking code is installed.
    • “_ga”: This cookie is used by Universal Analytics and enables the unique visit control function. It is used to distinguish between users and expires after 2 years.
    • “_dc”: This cookie is used by Universal Analytics. It is used to limit the percentage of requests and expires after 10 minutes.

How to disable cookie settings

All browsers allow changes to be made to disable cookie settings. This is the reason why most browsers offer the possibility of managing cookies, in order to obtain more precise control over privacy.
These settings are located in the "options" or "preferences" of your browser menu.
Below you can find the links for each browser to disable cookies by following the instructions:

Internet Explorer

In the tools menu, select "Internet Options". Click on the privacy tab. You will see a scroll cursor to configure privacy that has six positions that allows you to control the amount of cookies that will be installed: Block all cookies, High, Medium High, Medium (default level), Low and Accept all cookies.

Mozilla Firefox

In the tools menu, select “options”. Select the privacy label in the options box. From the drop-down menu choose "use custom settings for history". This will display the cookie options and you can choose to activate or deactivate them by checking the corresponding box.

Google Chrome

In the settings menu, select "show advanced settings" at the bottom of the page. Select the "content settings" key in the privacy section.

The section at the top of the page that appears gives you information about cookies and allows you to set your preferred cookies. It also allows you to delete any cookie that you have stored at that time.

Safari

In the configuration menu, select the "preferences" option. Open the privacy tab. Select the option you want from the "block cookies" section. Remember that certain functions and the full functionality of the Site may not be available after disabling cookies.

If you do not wish to be tracked by cookies, Google has developed a plugin to install in your browser that you can access here.

Based on the option you choose regarding the use of cookies on the websites, an additional cookie will be sent to you to safeguard your choice so that you do not have to accept the use of cookies every time you access websites developed by JUST QUALITY S.C
